The Last Leg is back tonight fronted by Josh Widdicombe, Adam Hills and Alex Brooker. This week's guests are Sara Pascoe, Munya Chawawa and the second most famous Josh in comedy, Josh Pugh.
Sara Pascoe has been relatively quiet recently having had a second child last autumn, but she is back in the public eye promoting her debut novel Weirdo. If you keep an eye out she is doing some low key gigs and also some book-related events. She is also one of the headliners at the Latitude Festival in July so we might be seeing her on tour at some point in the near future.
Munya Chawawa is famous for his rapid response satirical clips. He was also one of the breakout stars of Taskmaster a few series ago. In 2022, he took part in the documentary How to Survive a Dictator with Munya Chawawa, in which he went on a journey "exploring the life of Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe, one of the world's most notorious tyrants, looking for the man behind the monster". He is one of the stars of the latest series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off on Channel 4.
Josh Pugh picked up a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe a couple of years ago. He is currently on tour with his latest show, Existin' La Vida Loca. Pugh is partially sighted and has played football for England's partially sighted team. He takes his football very seriously. In 2023 he said: “We eat properly, we train hard. It’s hard. But it should be; it should be hard to be an England player. We once had a manager who made us watch a clip from the film 300 and we had a player sent off inside the first 10 minutes the next day.”
The Last Leg, Friday, April 5, Channel 4, 10pm.
