The Not So New Comedian Of the Year final has taken place at the Museum of Comedy in London. Twelve acts over the age of 35 battled it out for the first prize of £250 and a trophy.
And the results are as follows.

Dodd was a regular on the circuit a few years ago but did not gig for a while after having children. She impressed the judges with a high energy madcap set of jokes and stories about her family and the vagaries of British sign Language.

MC was Tony Dunn, who quipped that the entrants were so old a couple of them had come back from the D-Day events in Normandy.
