The Red Imp Comedy Club has announced its line up of comic stars in the lead up to this year’s Edinburgh Festival in their summer venue Trades Hall. It's a chance to see big name stand up performers in a relaxed and intimate setting.
This summer's Edinburgh Preview season features an array of international and home-grown, first timers to The Red Imp stage, all ready to impress with their new material before heading to Scotland.
These including a comedy genius - SEANN WALSH, GEOFF NORCOTT, , star of Celebrity Who Dares Wins ZOE LYONS, up and coming Insta sensation JACK SKIPPER and star of Live at the Apollo and Mock The Week ANGELA BARNES who has recently had a sitcom commissioned by ITV
Along with Red Imp favourites ROBIN INCE, MARK WATSON and SHAPARAK KHORSANDI to name a few, plus a matinee show with seasoned performers MATT FORDE and MARK THOMAS
Club founder Susan Murray comments, “We’ve already kicked off with a sold out show for Lucy Porter and a stunning two hander for Arthur Smith and Phil Nice. As usual we have the strongest line up in London with most of our acts having done Live @ The Apollo, News Quiz, HIGNFY and an almost even split between male and female acts. You won’t find that anywhere else. This year’s Edinburgh season sees a range of comedians who have never been available to perform with us such as MAISIE ADAM and SCOTT BENNETT. The gig has such a great reputation on the UK comedy circuit it’s in such high demand I’ve had to add some Sunday matinees to accommodate all the great acts that want to do it. Plus we have rising star IGNATIO LOPEZ doing a spoof Star Wars Kids comedy show”.
