The Show Will Go On – Susie McCabe To Do Fringe Run After Emergency Heart Operation

Comedian Susie McCabe will be doing her Edinburgh Fringe run as planned following an emergency heart operation last week.

McCabe's partner Nicola Copeland posted the news on social media. "Susie decided to scare the bejesus out us all yesterday by having a teeny weeny heart attack

Little procedure and she’s right as rain, just needing a few days to recover and she’ll be fighting fit again. I know you’ll all be super worried, but honestly, she’s alright.
No solo/preview shows except the Fringe - drivers/escorts/chaperones required.
No flowers please but donations, however, can be made via her Fringe tickets link…."

The following day McCabe was well enough to add: "Thanks everyone for your kind and supportive messages , it really means a lot . Thanks to all the staff at Bristol Royal Infirmary , incredible level of care . I called an ambulance at 9:45 and had been treated and in a Cardiology ICU by 11:45.
OUR NHS IS THE GREATEST THING WE HAVE AND ITS OURS AND WE PAY FOR IT .
The standard of treatment I have received has been incredible .
Imagine if I had died in Bristol????
I am away to consider my lifestyle choices Fairwell Fags , poppers and red bull ….. we were good pals but you’re a bad influence on me ….
Hello Hummus , Yoghurt and sadness !"

Susie McCabe's new show, Merchant of Menace is at the Assembly George Square Studios from July 31 - August 25. Here's that ticket link
