New Tour For Dara O Briain

New Tour For Dara O Briain

Dara O Briain is back with a brand new live show.

After the huge success of his last tour, 'So, Where Were We?'  which sold out 173 venues across 20 countries and was named UK Comedy Tour of the Year 2023 (Chortle), Dara's new show 'Re:Creation' sees one of Ireland's finest live comedians back doing his favourite thing: standing in a theatre, telling stories and creating madness with the audience. It's guaranteed to be a very, very, funny night.

Kicking off at Vicar Street in Dublin in January 2025, the UK dates start later that year on the 2nd April in Buxton and will see Dara perform extensively across the UK throughout 2025 and 2026.

Tickets for ‘Re:Creation’ go on general sale from Friday 6th September with artist pre-sale available from Wednesday 4th September.  Tickets are available here. See below for a full list of dates and venues.

Dara has made a name for himself as one of Ireland’s finest comedy exports for nearly 25 years. Among his many television credits, he has hosted BBC Two’s long running hit panel show ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Stargazing Live’, ‘Robot Wars’, Dave’s ‘Go8Bit’, ‘One & Six Zeros’ on Channel 4 plus  Comedy Central’s re-boot of the classic quiz show ‘Blockbusters’.

Most recently in 2023 and 2024  Dara presented three documentary series for Channel 5 – ‘Mysteries Of The The Pyramids With Dara O Briain’, ‘Wonders Of The Moon With Dara O Briain’ and ‘Wonders Of The Sun With Dara O Briain’.

Dara has previously released five classic stand-up DVDs with Universal Pictures (UK); ‘Crowd Tickler’ (2015), 'Craic Dealer' (2012),  ‘This Is The Show’ (2010), ‘Dara Ó Briain Talks Funny Live In London’ (2008) and ‘Dara Ó Briain Live at the Theatre Royal’ (2006).

Both of his last tours, ‘Voice of Reason’ (2018) and ‘So Where Were We?’ (2023), were filmed and broadcast exclusively for the BBC.

Dara has also put pen to paper with the release of three best selling non-fiction children’s books all released by Scholastic UK:  Beyond The Sky: You and the Universe’ (2017), ‘Secret Science: The Amazing World Beyond Your Eyes’ (2018), and most recently in October 2020, ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’

He is also the greatest points scorer in the history of Channel 4’s Taskmaster.
