Just The Tonic Opens Major New London Comedy Club

Just The Tonic has announced  a new London comedy club at the Metronome Whitechapel to mark the brand's 30th anniversary year.  Just The Tonic Whitechapel launches on Thursday 26th September with headliner Romesh Ranganathan alongside Lindsey Santoro, Paul McCaffrey and compere Sally-Anne Hayward.

Romesh is just one of a host of TV names that will headline the club alongside Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn, Lou Sanders, Emmanuel Sonubi and Gary Delaney and the best comperes in the country.

Just The Tonic owner Darrell Martin says:" We are so pleased to see Just the Tonic arrive in London. We are looking forward to bringing our top end comedy shows to this hi spec, and perfect comedy venue. After years of working together in Nottingham at the original Metronome, we know that together we can produce comedy shows that will soon be seen as a top tier night out in the capital. So excited for this new collaboration and putting on the best talent from around the world. Come and laugh at us”.

Metronome owner Craig Chettle MBE, CEO of Confetti Media Group added: “Our partnership with Just the Tonic in Nottingham goes back years and so it was only natural for us to partner with them in London. Metronome is a 300-seater smack bang in the middle of bustling Whitechapel, offering an exciting line up of live performance, from comedy to music. All of us at Metronome are excited to be the new home for Just the Tonic as they expand into the capital.:

Just the Tonic was launched in Nottingham over 30 years ago and has played host to countless up-and-coming comics as well as the most established TV names. It is now one of the most respected live comedy brands across the UK with venues in Leicester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Reading.

It also runs shows at leading festivals including the Leicester Comedy Festival and is one of the 6 major venues at the Edinburgh Festival, this year hosting 180 shows.
