Tour For Karen Dunbar

Tour For Karen Dunbar

Comedian, actress, writer, DJ and star of Chewin’ The Fat, Karen Dunbar is set to tour in November, packing twenty-four shows in twenty-three venues into just one month. An Evening With Karen Dunbar is Karen’s third tour since 2023 with Aberdeen-based promotors, Breakneck Comedy.

An Evening With Karen Dunbar, sees Karen sharing stories from her life and talking about her career, with – as you would expect from a stalwart of the Scottish comedy scene – a heap of humour and jokes.

As Breakneck Comedy founder, Naz Hussain, explains, audiences can expect brand new stories and jokes. “I’m delighted that Karen is working with us again, and we’re both looking forward to bringing her brand-new show to venues across Scotland. It’s testament to Karen’s talent and storytelling prowess, that she’s got a whole new show for audiences, even though she toured with us earlier in the year” says Naz.

In addition to the Autumn 2024 dates, Breakneck Comedy has recently confirmed that they will be working with Karen again in the new year, with an extensive tour scheduled. “I’m incredibly proud that Karen trusts us work with her on these tours” says Naz, “it’s a huge privilege to work with her and to bring her show to more people”.

Breakneck Comedy is renowned for bringing top comedians and performers to towns and venues that might not be on the usual tour schedule. “I love bringing big names to towns that some promotors might overlook” says Naz. “It’s really exciting to be able to put on shows all over Scotland and make it easier for people to be able to enjoy a great night of comedy and entertainment without them having to worry about catching a train home from the city.”
