Alexandra Haddow has announced her debut UK tour, taking her recent Edinburgh Festival Fringe show ‘THIRD PARTY’ out on the road in spring 2025.
The rising comedy star will tour her new sex-and-politics themed hour across the UK for 10 dates from 13th February – 28th March 2025, closing with her biggest ever headline show to date, at London’s Leicester Square Theatre (28th Mar).
Tickets will go on general sale this Friday 27th September, 10am. Tickets available HERE. Full breakdown of listings information and performance dates below.
The news has been on fire for so long now we’re probably out of petrol. Should we all just embrace societal collapse and enter our Last Days of Rome era? This is a show about sex, politics, ageing, nihilism and maybe hope. In a world where we’re always told to pick a side, is there a third option?
On heading out in 2025 for her debut UK tour, Haddow said: "I'm so excited to be going on the road to review hotel pillows all over the country, in between performing my show Third Party. As a show partly about politics I can't wait to see how different each night will be depending on what's going on that week."
Haddow is a London-based comedian and writer, who has quickly become one of the most sought-after fixtures on comedy club bills up and down the country. Originally from the East Midlands and the first in her family to go to university and pursue a career in the arts, Alexandra hilariously skewers the juxtaposition of her working-class upbringing and her current life as an East London based, freelance writer and comedian, expertly walking the fine line between cheeky and outright smut.
Having added support slots with comedy icons Frankie Boyle, Bill Bailey, Tommy Tiernan and Eshaan Akbar to her flourishing stand-up CV, Haddow has also been seen and heard on Channel 4, Comedy Central and BBC Radio 4 Extra, and has performed at both Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.
Haddow’s hotly-anticipated return hour at this year’s Fringe followed her sell-out run of 2023’s debut show ‘Not My Finest Hour’, a show about ‘the worst thing Haddow has ever done’. Both shows received critical acclaim, with Haddow being nominated for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards in 2023. Haddow filmed ‘Not My Finest Hour’ in May at East London’s Moth Club, as her debut comedy special.
Alexandra’s work as a writer has seen her contribute to Have I Got News For You, Sunday Times Style, The Guardian, Evening Standard, Refinery29, Time Out, Metro, and as a columnist for NME. Haddow founded the cult hit indie club night, Indie Amnesty, which has held sold out nights in London, Barcelona, Margate and Glasgow.
