I’m So Not Over IT, the podcast formerly known as The Xennial Dome, is back awith a rebrand and new logo created within the confines of a free Canva trial) and the start of a brand new series.
I’m So Not Over It is the comedy history podcast about stuff you’ll remember, presented by comedy writers Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears. The new series begins Thursday, 3rd October and features an interview with comedian, Elis James. He talks about the time Jurassic Park had its premier in Carmarthen, beating a girl he fancied 1500-nil on a Welsh language quiz show and why he thought the death of Diana was a conspiracy by bored Welsh language parents. Episode 2 (10th October) will feature Rosie Holt who recalls her time as a 10-year-old on Live and Kicking.
Every week sees Gareth and Esyllt explore a different month in history – but with a brief stretching from the mid-70s to the present day. It’s politics and pop culture for the eighties, nineties, noughties and beyond, delivered in 20 minute hits. And these weekly episodes are interspersed with interviews with the people who lived through this period to understand whether it has had any bearing on the lives they lead today.
Previous guests include Nish Kumar, Jess Philips MP, Trevor & Simon, Isy Suttie and many more. It’s the perfect listen, whether you’re Generation X, Gen X, Xennial, Millennial, Generation Z, Gen Z or whatever Pepsi wants to call you.
