Horne Section Extend Tour And Add Big London Gig

The Horne Section are set to extend ‘The Horne Section’s Hit Show’ tour, making it their biggest yet with 22 extra dates being added, alongside announcing a brand new Christmas Shindig special festive show on Sunday 8th December at London’s Indigo O2. The band will now be on the road up to 19th November 2025 and tickets can be found at thehornesection.com.

Performing soon-to-be top hits, the six-headed musical comedy band bring their trademark unruly, ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying stylings to an array of brand-new songs. Expect plentiful enthusiastic dancing, party games, and a lot of mucking about, led by creator and co-host of BAFTA and National Comedy Award-winning hit TV show, TaskmasterAlex Horne. 

Having starred in their debut sitcom The Horne Section TV Show on Channel 4 which was described as “riotously fun… [and] an utter delight” (The Guardian ★★★★), and “a first-class comedy” (The Sunday Times Online). The sitcom is returning for a second series on Channel 4, while their previous TV credits include being featured on Channel 4’s The Last Leg including Last Leg Christmas Special and Last Leg: The Last Leg of the Year, and being the in-house band on BBC One’s Peter Crouch’s Year Late Euros and Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer, which Horne also co-hosted. They have featured in Dictionary Corner on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), The Royal Variety Performance 2018 (ITV), as well as the 2 hour special The Horne Section Television Programme on UKTV’s Dave filmed at the London Palladiumwhile the band have hosted three series of Alex Horne Presents The Horne Section on BBC Radio 4.

The band’s iTunes chart topping podcast The Horne Section Podcast is Shortlists’ Best Comedy Podcast, while the band collaborated with Romesh Ranganathan’s Hip Hop Saved My Life podcast in an exclusive podcast mashup with Acast and Comic Relief. Separately, members of The Horne Section have performed with recording artists including Robbie Williams, Madness, Florence and the Machine, Amy Winehouse, George Ezra, Basement Jaxx, Discolsure and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. 

The Horne Section are: Alex Horne (band leader), Joe Auckland (trumpet and banjo), Mark Brown (saxophone and guitar), Will Collier (bass and guitar), Ben Reynolds (drums and percussion) and Ed Sheldrake (keyboards).
