Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Amy Gledhill Extends Tour

Due to demand, this year's winner of Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy awards, Amy Gledhill today announces that she will extend her award-winning tour show Make Me Look Fit On The Poster into 2025 with dates at London’s Soho Theatre in January and February. Currently blowing audiences away across the UK on her biggest tour to date, Gledhill will take to the main house for 12 shows only from January 27th – February 8th. Tickets are on sale now and are available from www.plosive.co.uk.

Make Me Look Fit On The Poster is the award-winning show about self-confidence, romance and bin bags from the multi-award-winning comedian who’s recent appearance on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show has firmly cemented her as a powerhouse on the comedy circuit.  Known for her unique mix of intelligent everyday observations, confessional anecdotes and off-beat tangents on stage Amy brims with natural warmth and charm.

Amy Gledhill is the only act ever to be nominated twice in one year; both for Best Newcomer (solo show) and Best Show, as one half of the critically acclaimed sketch duo The Delightful Sausage. Amy’s authentic, comic voice also earned her a nomination at the National Comedy Awards in 2023 alongside the likes of Joe Lycett, Tim Key and Sam Campbell. She also co-hosts the hit comedy podcast Northern News (Guardian Best Podcasts of 2023) and the newly released Single Ladies in Your Area. TV credits include Would I Lie To You? (BBC), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC), plus roles in BAFTA award-winning Alma’s Not NormalSex Education (Netflix), Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (C4) and Somewhere Boy (C4). Amy will also appear on Live At The Apollo later this year, and her brand new podcast with Harriet Kemsley Single Ladies In Your Area launched this October and is available to stream now!
