Seann Walsh Announces Stand Up Special

Following a complete sellout tour and many standing ovations, Seann Walsh - one of the UK’s greatest comedians - will release his highly acclaimed show Back From The Bed on YouTube on 15 December.

Well into his mid-thirties, Seann just wants to be in bed or work out how and when he can get back to it. He hates leaving the house and enjoys nothing more than an event being cancelled and he can now see crumbs.

As well performing his comedy on stage, this year, Seann made his Shakespearean debut, playing Malvolio in Twelfth Night at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre. The Cornish themed production was directed by Sean Turner (The Play That Goes Wrong), and he starred alongside Natalie Anderson (Fool Me Once) and Molly Windsor (Three Girls).

Seann has also just finished touring the UK in Yasmina Reza’s multi-award winning, fiendishly clever and hilarious play ART.  Directed by Iqbal Khan, he starred alongside Chris Harper and Aden Gillett.

A former star of ITVs Im A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, Seann was nominated for a DAVE Comedy Award for Best Comedy Show at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Seann Walsh: Is Dead. Happy Now? Where he wowed audiences and critics alike receiving glowing praise and critical acclaim across the board for his candid, confessional and bitingly funny show.

Seann has starred in series 1-3 of The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Backstage with Katherine Ryan on Amazon Prime, The Lovebox In Your Living Room (BBC2) alongside Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse, Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Tonight at The London Palladium (ITV), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Play To The Whistle (ITV), a team captain for Virtually Famous (C4), 8 Out of 10 Cats (C4), Alan Carrs Chatty Man (C4), Hey Tracey! (ITV2), Comedians Solve World Problems (Comedy Central) and has made regular appearances on The Jonathan Ross Show. He appeared in Dave Channels Campaign Against Living Miserably and is an ambassador for the CALM charity.

Seann hosts two hit weekly podcasts: Oh My Dog! which he does with Jack Dee where the duo talk about their furry friends joined by weekly special guests including: Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Romesh Ranganathan, Kerry Godliman, Beverly Knight, Rob Beckett and Julian Clary. He also co-hosts What’s Upset You now with fellow comedian Paul McCaffrey and they have been joined by the likes of: Katherine Ryan, Stewart Lee and many more.

In 2022, Seanns acclaimed film short Clownwon best film at the Los Angeles Comedy Film & Screenplay Festival 2022.
