Alex Horne has made his pop video debut in the new release from Brighton-based Nature TV.

Horne appears on the video for their new single One Step Forward, introducing the band on a spoof pop chart show.

Talking about the video shoot, Horne explained:“I’d never been in a music video before so I said yes instantly. I have a pretty big ego and also Nature TV sent me a nice t-shirt so it ticked all the boxes. I loved Top of the Pops as a kid, it was unmissable Thursday evening viewing - it turns out some of the hosts weren’t necessarily ideal but I’m still glad I’ve now got footage of me presenting the show. That’s another ambition ticked off. Next, I’ve got to score a free kick for Liverpool.

The shoot was everything I thought it might be. I was given a can of coca cola, I got to listen to the single several times in a row while watching the band play along to the single and nod their heads and look cool. I got to hang out with the band. I was basically in the band. It was a good day. Also, I bought a new jumper on my way to the station after. It was pretty similar to shooting Taskmaster. The crew were small and nimble. We moved fast andc hanged things on the fly. We had snacks.”
