Tim Minchin has announced his new UK tour, "Songs The World Will Never Hear”. The tour marks the 20th anniversary of his arrival onto the British comedy scene in 2005. Tickets go on sale on Friday 7th February at 12pm here.
Audiences can expect an evening packed with songs and stories, as Minchin looks back on how a Perth cabaret pianist ended up building one of the most eclectic and extraordinary careers in entertainment. Delivered with signature blend of razor-sharp wit, musical virtuosity, and disarming honesty, the set list will draw from three decades of unique songwriting.
From comedy classics to tear-jerking Christmas songs… from boobs to existentialism… from fast fingering to free will… there’s nothing quite like an evening in the company of Tim Minchin. The tour kicks off on 4 June 2025 at London’s Soho Theatre Walthamstow and will span 18 cities across the UK, including Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Brighton, before culminating in a spectacular headline show at the iconic Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on 4 July 2025.
Minchin’s previous tours – “So F**king Rock, Ready for This?” and “Tim Minchin vs. The Orchestra” - garnered awards, critical acclaim and sold-out audiences worldwide. After a seven year hiatus from touring, his triumphant 2019 return to the stage with “Back” captivated over 130,000 fans across the UK and Australia, with multiple sold-out performances at prestigious venues like the London Palladium.
The 2025 tour will feature a limited number of premium-priced VIP seats at each show, with proceeds contributing £5,000 per night to local charities. VIP ticket holders will also receive exclusive signed merchandise, ensuring a night to remember both on and off the stage.
Tim Minchin said: Incredibly, many of my UK fans have been by my side for two decades. They have never flinched as I’ve turned corners and reinvented myself, always engaging open-heartedly with whatever I have to offer. I’m the luckiest artist on the planet, and I can’t wait to be back to deliver a big joyous show, spanning the whole bloody thing.”
