Nina Conti Extends Sell Out Tour

Nina Conti Extends Sell Out Tour

Virtuoso ventriloquist, BAFTA nominee and British Comedy Award winner Nina Conti has announced a 13-date autumn tour extension of her smash-hit live show ‘Whose Face Is It Anyway?’, which was the best reviewed show at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

As Nina currently tours an initial string of 26 sell-out performances across the UK this spring, including four nights in London’s West End at the Apollo Theatre, Conti has now extended her tour for 14 further shows later this year, from Tuesday 30th September – Thursday 30th October 2025. Full breakdown of listings information and all performance dates below.

Tickets go on general sale from Thursday 6th February 2025, at ninaontour.com.

With her beloved monkey in tow, join Conti for ‘Whose Face Is It Anyway?’ as she presents an unparalleled, unscripted new show that delves deep into who we are, hijacking faces to spark a bold, hysterical reality warp.

On extending the tour into autumn 2025, Conti said: My show is like charades on acid. When I put one of my masks on an audience member, it creates a completely liberated monster.

I find it endlessly endearing when all they can do is wildly gesticulate whilst saying something totally adjacent. I’m so grateful to be in the position of adding more dates. The show's unscripted so people can come again and see a new one!”

Elsewhere, Nina recently enjoyed the world premiere of her narrative film directorial debut ‘Sunlight’, which played to numerous screenings and rave reviews at the relaunched Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2024.

Set in New Mexico, the film is a darkly funny and unconventional love story between a man and a woman who doesn’t want to come out of a monkey suit. In a clever reference to Conti’s own ventriloquism act, which throughout her career has seen her voicing her uncensored thoughts via a monkey puppet, this film is the upshot.

The film co-stars and was co-written with Shenoah Allen, of the Pyjama Men duo, and is executive produced by This Is Spinal Tap creator Christopher Guest. Earlier in 2024, Sunlight featured as part of the BFI and British Council’s annual ‘GREAT 8’ showcase at Cannes, which presents new feature films from the UK’s most exciting first and second-time filmmakers to international distributors and festival programmers.

In a continuation of her work with Christopher Guest, Nina has also recently finished filming as part of the cast of the upcoming sequel to the 1984 cult classic This Is Spinal Tap.
