Guests on this week’s Jonathan Ross Show include Jack Dee, Roisin Conaty, Jill Scott, and Will Poulter, with music from Simple Minds.
Roisin Conaty has been off our screens for a while but has been back recently, most notably alongside Jimmy Carr commentating on the hit Prime show, Last One Laughing. All episodes are now available and we know who won but we won't reveal the winner here. Except to say that the comedian who won was tipped in advance by many to either be knocked out straight away or win...
And Last One Laughing has clearly proved to be a big hit with viewers. Recent figures by Barb reveal the first episode has been watched by 2,976,100 viewers, the second by 2,527,300 and the third by 2,485,400. There has been no announcement yet about a second series but after being such a hit there will surely be one - they just need to find a line-up as strong as Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Judi Love, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Richard Ayoade.
Conaty recently told the Guardian how she likes to relax: "I love a big walk on Hampstead Heath, but I don’t swim in the ponds. I did once and I got the shits so badly I had to cancel an appearance on The Last Leg."
Jack Dee recently appeared on World’s Most Dangerous Roads on U&Dave and on Taskmaster on C4 where he lived up to his reputation as a major grump but also endeared himself to viewers with his desperate antics at the various challenges.
Dee is currently touring with his latest show, Small World, which, as the title suggests , steers clear of the big issues of the moment. Instead he doubles down on his fascination with the meaningless small things of life like Zoom protocol, what’s new in the world of radiators and the worst careers advice office in the world.
