Bridget Christie Joins Cast Of Things You Should Have Done

Filming has officially begun on the new series of RTS Award-Winning BBC Comedy, Things You Should Have Done. Written by and starring BAFTA nominated Lucia Keskin, the series is a Roughcut Television production for BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

The series, filmed in Ramsgate, will welcome back self-confessed ‘stay at home daughter’ Chi (Lucia Keskin) as she is once again forced to contend with life and death. Series two sees the dysfunctional family’s comical attempts at navigating the fallout and puts them firmly in the path of unhinged and unprofessional grief counselor, Ruth (Bridget Christie).

Bridget Christie, currently starring in her own C4 comedy hit The Change, says: “I’ve always wanted to play a bisexual therapist in a Lucia Keskin TV show that films near the sea. Living the dream folks. Living the dream.”

Ruth manhandles Chi's list of basic life tasks, entitled 'Things You Should Have Done’, left behind by her parents and forces Chi to once again get out of the house and face life head-on with yet more chaotic consequences.

Meanwhile, loveable Dave (Daniel Fearn) explores life as a newly single man with mixed results and Lucas (Jamie Bisping) attempts to grow up and provide for his family, whilst Chi is determined he doesn’t. Ruth gets herself embroiled in the family’s shenanigans which sees our gang unleashed on the unsuspecting locals of Ramsgate.

The Roughcut produced series recently won Best Comedy Programme at the 2025 Broadcast Digital Awards and Best Scripted Comedy at the 2025 RTS Awards. Lucia is also nominated for the Emerging Talent: Fiction Award at this year’s BAFTA TV Craft Awards.

Things You Should Have Done is a Roughcut TV production for BBC Three and iPlayer. It was commissioned by Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy.
