Kayvan Novak, the star of C4's prank show Fonejacker, is working on a new show for BBC Radio 4.
The Celebrity Voicemail Show is an entirely fictitious comedy show written, improvised and starring only Novak, in which he imagines what it might be like to hear the answerphone messages of the rich and famous.
Each episode centres around the voicemail of a particular celebrity as we hear the messages their agent, taxi driver, co-star, grandparents etc. leave for them. A story emerges through the messages they leave, as well as through the background conversations in the messages.
Kayvan voices all the characters himself.
The series will go out at 11pm on Radio 4 in September.
Noval is also about to star in a new BBC1 sitcom, Sun Trap, with Bradley Walsh.
