Major Hometown Glasgow Gig For Christopher Macarthur Boyd

Major Hometown Glasgow Gig For Christopher Macarthur Boyd

After selling out the entire run of his highly acclaimed new show Howling At The Moon at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Christopher Macarthur Boyd will be taking it to the famous King’s Theatre in Glasgow on 19th March 2026.

He’ll bring his totally unique, ‘belly-achingly funny’ (Herald) stand-up about grappling with being mental, his sexuality and general lunacy.

It’s been a busy year or so for Christopher between breaking up with his long-term girlfriend and moving back in with his parents in the east end of Glasgow, and he’s doing stand-up about his love life and grief and nostalgia.

Christopher sold out his debut tour last year and became a co-host on the hit podcast Here Comes The Guillotine (with Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe)

Christopher is making big waves on the comedy scene right now. He’s a ‘compelling’ (Times) observational standup who is happy to deliver the latest headlines of his life, with his signature style of comedy.

Christopher has released his comedy special Oh No on 800 Pound Gorilla Media and he recorded his last critically acclaimed show Scary Times at the 1400 seat Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow, which is now available to view on the Some Laughs Youtube channel. He recently hosted BBC New Comedy Awards and Scotland Stands Up. As well as his own tour, he has supported: Frankie Boyle, Susie McCabe, Kevin Bridges, Shane Gillis and David Cross.”

Presale: Thursday 21st August 2025, 11:00am
