Veteran comedian and campaigner Mark Thomas is celebrating his fortieth year as a stand-up this year and has chosen to mark the landmark with two events. He will be headlining a Medical Aid for Palestinians fundraiser at the Comedy Store on November 19 and will also be releasing his first ever vinyl comedy album.
Thomas has a lengthy CV - among his notable achievements he is the only comic to win a UN Association Global Human Rights Defender Award and six Fringe First awards.
The album, entitled Gaffa Tapes, was recorded at the Leicester Square Theatre in February this year and will be released on the Go Faster Stripe label.
Medical Aid for Palestinians works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.
Mark will be joined at the Comedy Store by comics including Esther Manito, Sami Abu Wardeh and Eleanor Tiernan. Buy tickets here.
