Following an Edinburgh Fringe run and a nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh Ish Awards, Pauline Eyre is taking her show Anyone For Tennis on a UK tour, starting in January 2026.

A Wimbledon line judge for 20 years, comedian Pauline Eyre is ready to spill the Pimms on tennis gossip from the fragrant royal box to the musty locker room – and why line judges are OUT! Expect smashing stories, ace anecdotes and a 40-love letter to the game. And there’s nobody to say ‘quiet please’. She cannot be serious... can she? 

Summer 2025 saw electronic line-calling at Wimbledon, replacing the iconic line judges, with their eccentric uniforms and strange poses, with AI voices and whole heap of new controversy. But it did mean an opportunity for Pauline to dish the dirt on a career’s worth of juicy gossip and salacious stories. 

And with an eclectic career oZ the court – a former BBC Continuity Announcer, familiar voice of British advertising and even a (very) short stint as a Page 3 model (it was a sunglasses ad, honest!), she is the most nearly famous person you’ve never met. 

This was Pauline’s second Edinburgh run. Her debut show Body was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Ish Awards in 2024.
