
Ben Caudell is to be Channel 4's new Head of Entertainment. Caudell is currently Head of Comedy at Objective Productions, a post he only took up in November 2014.
Before then he was a co-founder of Zeppotron Productions, which was formed in 2000, and has worked with a number of rising stars including Charlie Brooker, Diane Morgan and Jimmy Carr. Caudell has been involved in programmes including C4's Black Mirror, BBC1's Would I Lie to You?, C4's 8 Out of 10 Cats and Sky 1's spoof crime show A Touch of Cloth.
Caudell started out in television as a joke writer. One of his first jobs was writing for Jack Docherty's chat show on Five. He then went on to write for C4's The 11 O'Clock Show, which helped to discover Ricky Gervais and Sacha Baron Cohen.
