Buckly up, Dr Buckles is here. Adam Buxton is one of this week's House of Games guests alongside Hammed Animashaun, Lisa Snowdon and Lorna Watson.
Podcast fans will of course known Adam Buxton for his award winning Ramblechat interviews which have featured a wide range of guests and a number of scoops. Paul McCartney told him how he likes to watch Would I Lie To You? to relax. Werner Herzog started off grumpy during some technical hitches but eventually had a great chat with Buxton. Buxton's friend Louis Theroux talked about his drinking, admitting that during the pandemic he was hungover when parenting three sons. Singer Pauline Black talked about performing in front of skinheads
In 2025 however he also turned musician and released his debut album entitled Buckle Up. There are even going to be some live dates so keep an eye out for those here.
Maybe after this appearance on Richard Osman's House of Games it can only be a matter of time before he gets the call from Taskmaster too.
Also on this week's shows is Lorna Watson who was one half of sketch duo Watson and Oliver, who had their own BBC footsteps and looked set to be following in the footsteps of French and Saunders. Her performing partner Ingrid Oliver can currently be seen playing a proper grown up acting role in the new Netflix thriller Run Away alongside James Nesbitt. Oliver also just happens to be Richard Osman's wife, but we won't go down that avenue here.
If you really like Richard Osman you can also hear him on the media/showbiz podcast, The Rest Is Entertainment, with Marina Hyde. It's a great listen, they really are a couple of know-it-alls.
