Broadcast Award Wins For Here We Go, Last One Laughing And Big Boys

Here We Go to Return for Fourth Series and Christmas Special
Comedies Here We Go, Last One Laughing And Big Boys were among the winners of this year's Broadcast Awards, announced at a ceremony last night.
 

BBC sitcom Here We Go won Best Comedy, C4's Big Boys won Best Comedy Drama and Prime Video’s Last One Laughing won Best Entertainment Programme.

Crongton, written by the award-winning writer and comedian Archie Maddocks and based on the best-selling British novels by Alex Wheatle, won Best Children's Programme.

Elsewhere Netflix was a big winner, with Adolescence winning Best New Drama and the streaming platform becoming the first streamer to win Broadcaster of the Year.

Here We Go (pictured) is set to return for a fourth series later this year. Created by and starring Tom Basden (After Life), it will once again feature the all-star cast Jim Howick (Ghosts), Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd), Alison Steadman (Gavin & Stacey), Freya Parks (This Town), Jude Morgan-Collie (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder), Tori Allen-Martin (Unforgotten), Mica Ricketts (Best Interests), Ed Kear (The Batman), and Jon Furlong (The Last Kingdom).
