Jonathan Ross returns for a new series of celebrity chat. His first guests are Hugh Bonneville, Riz Ahmed, England rugby union player Ellie Kildunne MBE, singer-songwriter Jason Derulo and in the comedian's seat, Harriet Kemsley.
Stand-up comedian Kemsley is very much a rising star at the moment, following breakout appearances on a number of notable TV shows.
The charismatic stand-up was on the first season of Last One Laughing UK on Amazon Prime, where she did her best to stifle her giggles but was knocked out early on.
On the subject of knock outs, Kemsley was one of the comedians who took part in the memorable Clash of the Comics wrestling show at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith last year. An edited version of the show was broadcast on U and U&Dave. She appeared in the ring alongside her friend Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Amy Gledhill. They both also front the podcast Single Ladies In Your Area with Amy Gledhill and Harriet Kemsley - Kemsley was previously married to American comedian Bobby Mair.
She was also a guest on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel.
The Jonathan Ross Show isn't her first chat show appearance either. She was on the YouTube chat show Sip Happens, in which celebrities chat to host Jake Lambert over a cup of tea.
Kemsley is always an entertaining guest, happy to say the things that others might filter out. She has also popped up on Richard Osman's House of Games, Iain Stirling’s Roast The Internet, Hypothetical, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Celebability, Guessable, This is MY House & The Now Show and was a stand-out stand-up on The Jonathan Ross Show.
And if you like Kemlsey you can also see her live. The tour dates and ticket link for her new show Floozy are here.
