Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee and Edinburgh Fringe cult hero Mat Ewins announces the launch of his brand new digital show Mat’s Made A Game, with new episodes released weekly from Friday 27th February 2026. The show will be available to watch on YouTube.

Hosted by Mat Ewins (8 Out Of 10 Cats, Live From The BBC, Question Team), the new show will see a host of guests playing a customised video game that Mat has personally built for the guest in question. Blending his technological prowess and penchant for chaos, this exciting new chat show format will find his guests exploring new virtual worlds while being bombarded with questions from Mat.

Mat said: "I love making videos and I love making comedy and so, barely twenty years after Google purchased YouTube, the time now feels right to dip my toe into the emerging world of online video content. None of my usual multimedia gimmicks, just me chatting and joking with guests (while they each play a completely bespoke video game in my own custom game engine I've spent the last eighteen months working on)"

Guests for the first season include, Jamali Maddix, Sarah Keyworth, Rhys James, Helen Bauer, Sean McLoughlin and Tom Rosenthal.

Mat Ewins is a British comedian and writer known for his inventive, high-concept solo shows that blend stand-up, multimedia, character comedy and outright chaos. A cult favourite at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where his shows have earned critical acclaim, including a nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Mat's reputation for crafting live games, animations, bespoke video stunts, and playable video‑game elements into stage performances have also made him a sought after developer and writer for television.

Mat’s TV credits include; Live From the BBC (BBC One), Harry Hill’s Clubnite (Ch4), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Ch4) and The Paddock (All4), Question Team (Dave).
