Brian and Roger Comes To BBC Radio 4

Brian and Roger Comes To BBC Radio 4

Hit podcast Brian and Roger will make its radio debut on BBC Radio 4 later this spring, with six new episodes airing weekly from 1st April at 11pm. A 15‐episode “best of” boxset is also available now on BBC Sounds, offering listeners an introduction to the darkly comic world of Brian and Roger, two recently divorced men in a highly dysfunctional friendship.

Created by and starring Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner (pictured top and bottom), and told entirely through voice notes, the podcast lets listeners eavesdrop on the unsettling dynamic between scheming and manipulative Brian, and Roger, whose good nature is all too easily taken advantage of.

Dan Skinner is best known for his character Angelos Epithemiou, first appearing on Shooting Stars as well as on the stand‐up circuit. Harry Peacock's many comic roles include Ray Purchase in Toast of London.

Brian and Roger is produced by Sally Harrison at Woolyback Productions, with new episodes commissioned by Julia McKenzie, Commissioning Editor for Comedy at BBC Radio 4.

Harry Peacock and Dan Skinner said: “We are as amazed as anyone that this has been commissioned but it’s happening! They’re actually going to let us do it and we look forward to our fun but probably brief relationship with the BBC.”

Julia McKenzie, BBC Radio 4 Commissioning Editor for Comedy, said: “I'm excited, if trepidatious, to bring these disturbed and desperate men to BBC Radio 4. Fans of dark comedy, strap in!”
