After last week's shaky debut hopefully any kinks will have been ironed out for this second show in Claudia's new chat show series. The guests this week have a strong comedy angle with Man Like Mobeen star Guz Khan and Irish powerhouse Joanne McNally joined by Hollywood star Rachel Zegler.
It's interesting to see that Rachel Zegler is in the line-up because she is also reported to be one of the guests on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night. I was under the impression that there was an unwritten protocol that guests could not double up. Maybe all bets are off with Clauda wanting to give the show a good push and as her show goes out a day before Jonathan's that should give her a head start. Either that or some celebrity bookers' heads will roll.
There's plenty of comedy potential tonight with Guz Khan reflecting on his time as a schoolteacher before he went into comedy and found fame with Man Like Mobeen.
And Joanne McNally is an absolute force of nature, following up her sell out tour Prosecco Express with a new drink-adjacent title, Pinotphile. In her latest show she finds the funny side of being a singleton in her forties while all of her friends seem to be weighed down with marriage and kids.
This line-up might not have the big name punch of the first show but it has one less guest, which may give Claudia a chance to get some proper conversations going on the dark teal sofa. Last week it felt more like star turns doing their dinner party set-pieces and Claudia wasn't at her best picking up on chatty titbits. There's also music from Niall Horan, formerly of One Direction.
One thing they could still change is to have a lighter, brighter set. And maybe it would be better if all the guests didn't wear different shades of grey and black like they do this week.
The Claudia Winkleman Show, 10.40pm, BBC One and on iPlayer.
