New Tour For Ed Byrne – No Dramas

New Tour For Ed Byrne – No Dramas

In his last show, Ed delved deep into his most personal material, looking at how humour is defined by Tragedy Plus Time. It was also his most successful, named Best Reviewed Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 and going on to tour for almost two years to sell-out crowds, often returning to a venue to play a second or even third time.

Now one of the biggest names in comedy returns with No Dramas.  Returning to what he does best – finding the funny in anything and everything, Ed just wants to live a life free of hassles or drama. He feels he’s earned it, but the world has other plans for him. Come, hear the conquistador of petty gripes air his grievances with a world hell bent on irritating the bejeezus out of us all and, who knows, perhaps it will make you feel better about your own bouts of impotent rage.

A renowned comedian/presenter and actor, Ed’s TV career is now in its third decade and he has regularly appeared on the likes of QI, Mock The Week on the BBC and its recent reboot on TLC, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, The Pilgrimage, Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay, Dara & Ed’s Big Adventure, The Graham Norton Show and Have I Got News For You, as well as hosting Live At The Apollo and Comic Relief Bake Off.

He’s been a contestant on BBC One’s Celebrity Best Home Cook (where he made it to show 5 out of 8 – not bad!) and Celebrity Bridge of Lies and Channel 5’s Celebrity Puzzling, and he has also won (yes, won!) celebrity versions of both The Chase and Pointless! He can often be heard on the radio and most recently guested on Frank Skinner’s One Person Found This Helpful and Chris McCausland’s You Heard It Here First, both on Radio 4. He is also set to perform his ‘best of’ show, The Story So Far, in Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark this summer.

Known for his passion for the outdoors (hill walking and mountaineering are major hobbies), Ed can be seen turning his presenting skills to factual broadcasting in BBC Two’s Volcano Live, World’s Most Dangerous Roads (where he spent two weeks driving through Siberia) and Into The Wild with Gordon Buchanan.
