Dan Tiernan is back at it again: and this time he’s got magic rocks in his pocket.
With a hat-trick of sold-out Edinburgh shows and countless five-star reviews under his belt, the 2025 Best Show Nominee will be hitting the road with his largest UK tour to date.
Tiernan’s fourth hour of stand-up, ‘Quartz and All’ – will enjoy a month’s run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August, before Tiernan tours the UK with a 24-date run from Friday 16th October 2026 – Saturday 13th March 2027.
The tour will include Tiernan’s biggest headline show yet, at London’s Clapham Grand on Thursday 18th February 2027.
The new hour from Tiernan this year has already been nominated for ‘Most Outstanding Show’ at the 2026 Melbourne Comedy Awards.
Tiernan returns to the Edinburgh Fringe, performing at Monkey Barrel 1 every night at 10.25pm from Monday 3rd – Sunday 30th August 2026 (previews 3rd – 6th August, no performance Tues 18th Aug).

2025 was a massive year for Tiernan, who added an Edinburgh Comedy Awards ‘Best Show’ nomination for his third hour ‘All In’ to his already glittering list of career accolades, including an ECA ‘Best Newcomer’ nomination (2023), British Comedy Guide’s ‘Next Big Thing’ nominee (2025), winner of the ‘BBC New Comedian Of The Year’ (2022), winner of ‘British Comedian Of The Year’ (2022) and winner of ‘Best Newcomer’ at the ISH Comedy Awards (2023).
2025 saw Tiernan perform a run of storming performances at Just For Laughs’ New Faces in Montreal, as he also joined the line-up of C4’s hit digital format ‘A Comedy Thing’ and released his first stand-up special ‘Full Of Beans’ with 800 Pound Gorilla.
TV credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC), QI (BBC), The Last Leg (C4), 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4), Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping (C4), Unforgivable (U&Dave), Comedy Central Live, BBC New Comedian of the Year 2023, Stand Up to Cancer (C4), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza (Dave), Jokes Only A… Can Tell (C4), Hard Sell (Dave), Out Of Order (Comedy Central) & Silence Is Golden (U & Dave).
Tiernan’s debut hour ‘Going Under’ saw him nominated for ECA Best Newcomer in 2023, and he recorded the show as a BBC Radio 4 stand-up special. Tiernan has since gone on to tour his two most recent shows ‘Stomp’ and ‘All In’ across the UK, and he has performed at various festivals including Melbourne Comedy Festival, The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Montreal New Faces and BBC Comedy Festival.
