Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee James Acaster has announced a tour starting on October 1 in Northampton and ending in Bath on December 3. His new show Represent tells the story of Acaster's time doing jury service during a murder trial.
Acaster has recently established himself as one of the most distinctive comedians in the UK. He has notched up a plethora of award nominations. As well as three Edinburgh Comedy Award nominations he won Best International Show Award at the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
He has also become a TV regular, with appearances on Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock The Week (BBC), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Nevermind The Buzzcocks (BBC) and Russell Howards Good News (BBC Three), Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave), Chris Addison’s Show and Tell (E4), Live at The Comedy Store (Paramount) and Sweat The Small Stuff (BBCThree). Radio appearances also including a regular guest spot on fellow comic Josh Widdicombe’s XFM show and writing and presenting his own show Findings for BBC Radio 4.
