30 years after The Fast Show finished its original BBC run, fans of “The defining comedy sketch show of the Nineties” (The Independent) are in for a treat as co-creators Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson reunite with Simon Day, John Thomson, Mark Williams and Arabella Weir to once again bring An Evening With The Fast Show to UK & Ireland theatres next year.
The 23 date UK tour begins on 1 February, and includes a stop at the legendary Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on 28 February, before culminating at Dublin’s 3Olympia on 3 March 2027. Tickets are on sale at the link below.
Paul Whitehouse said: “Ooh suit you! Looks like we’re back on the road in 2027 with An Evening with The Fast Show.“
Whitehouse, 68, has just been in the news after being involved in a mugging near to his home in Islington. His partner Dr Mine Conkbayir wrote on Instagram: "Well, a horrid start to the weekend, would be an understatement. Yesterday, I had a bad reaction to some treatment, which has left me feeling rather rotten. So, last night, Paul dashed out to get me some meds. He was mugged on Essex Road (Islington) - at the cashpoint beside the Sainsbury's Local. He did fight back and retrieved his card, with the perp scuttling away empty-handed. But that's not the point, is it.
I kept shtum, out of respect, but he just came over, having taken our daughter to football, still frustrated. I asked whether he'd like me to post - he said yes - in the hope that it might help folk to be more aware when out and about. So, please, everyone - I don't mean to patronise, but please be super vigilant out there."
An Evening with The Fast Show is a celebration of the enduring appeal of the TV sketch show and the laughter it has brought into the lives of millions.
Join the original cast members for a glimpse behind the scenes and relive some of the award-winning sketch show’s iconic characters and catchphrases including the Suits You Sir tailors, Swiss Toni, Ted and Ralph, Does My Bum Look Big In This, Competitive Dad and so many more.
