BAFTA-winning Chris McCausland is heading back out on tour next year with a brand-new stand-up show entitled Waffle.
Waffle will kick off in September 2027 and run through to 2028.
Chris loves being on tour. He's especially looking forward to the hotel breakfasts, not being woken at 7am by his family every morning, oh, and his audience of course.
He said: ‘I'll be starting this tour three months after turning fifty, so if I was you, I'd get your tickets early to avoid having to stare at the top of my balding head from up in the gods for the duration of the show. You've been warned!’
Chris famously won the hearts of the nation in 2024 winning the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. Amongst other things, it meant his stand-up tour Yonks! went on for a further year, selling over 350 thousand tickets nationwide, culminating at the legendary London Palladium.
A firm favourite on flagship comedy shows, Chris has appeared on The Royal Variety Performance and has made numerous appearances on Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, QI, The Last Leg, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Blankety Blank, Scared of the Dark, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Graham Norton Show, along with celebrity editions of The Chase, Pointless, and Mastermind, the latter of which he won with his chosen specialist subject, Pearl Jam.
He has also made four appearances on Live at the Apollo, including hosting the very last Christmas episode which will air in 2026.
Chris co-wrote and co-starred in - with Lee Mack - Bad Tidings, a Christmas film for Sky. He also fronted Chris McCausland: Seeing Into the Future for BBC, as well as, Wonders Of The World I Can’t See for C4.
On radio Chris is a familiar voice on R4 News Quiz as well as his own panel show You Heard It Here First, which has enjoyed three consecutive series.
This year, Chris added another string to his bow by joining Absolute Radio with The Chris McCausland Show, which airs every Sunday morning,
Chris’s debut autobiography, Keep Laughing, was published by Michael Joseph, Penguin Random House, at the end of 2025. The paperback will be released in January 2027. The audiobook version has just been nominated by The Speakies (the British Audio Awards) for Audiobook Of The Year.
