Holly Burn is not appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe this year. Instead she has generously given her spot to a Geordie lass called Kirsty K who is using it to celebrate her dead nan's life. In this exclusive interview Kirsty K tells us about herself and her ambition to own a giant Chuppa Chup. Please excuse any unusual spellings, they are Kirsty K's not BTJ's.

1. What is the last thing you do before you go on stage (apart from check your flies, check for spinach between teeth and check your knickers aren't sticking out of your skirt)?
Ring me mam, Put me teeth in and do a African war dance me nan taught us.
2. What irritates you?
Noises. Like bathroom fan noises. SOOOO loud! Also all the emojis wot don't exist...Also eating food wot hasn't got gluten, lactose or sugar in.
3. What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
Picked me nose with me finger wot had all the nail art on. Also riding a bike. And leaving the house.
4. What is the most stupid thing you have ever done?
Went to a pound shop with only 50p. Also leaving the house.
5. What has surprised you the most during your career in comedy?
I am surprised - me eyebrows are dead arched - cause wot's a career in comedy ....?
