The headliners for this year’s King's Place Festival have been announced. Award-winning comedians Andrew Maxwell and Ardal O’Hanlon headline on Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13, joining a comedy line-up including Tony Law, Felicity Ward and Lazy Susan.
On September 11 double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Andrew Maxwell appears with his new show, Yo Contraire. Maxwell has starred in Sky’s John Bishop’s Only Joking and Wall of Fame and the BBC’s Live at the Apollo. The Telegraph called his latest set “a phenomenal show, bulging with big ideas and any amount of laughs."
On September 13, actor, comedian and writer Ardal O’Hanlon will present his latest work-in-progress show. Best known for his starring TV roles in Father Ted and My Hero, Ardal is also the author of the 1999 best-seller The Talk of the Town.
