Jonny Sweet's new romantic comedy series Together continues on BBC3 at 10.30pm tonight. Here is a review of episode one. Please watch it, it is brilliant, Sweet is brilliant and it also features a lot of other brilliant comedy faces.
1. What is the last thing you do before you go onstage (apart from check your flies, check for spinach between teeth and check your knickers aren't sticking out of your skirt)?
I always used to have a Red Bull and a banana and when things got really bad the banana was replaced with a Mars bar. When I first started doing live stuff my preparation was to sweat and vomit. Now I don't really perform live and my life is a lot less up and down.
2. What irritates you?
I'm slightly too passive aggressive for that. It's always very marginal pathetic things like the way people react to emergencies.
3. What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
I absolutely nailed a car crash. Really crashed the crap out if it. I once drove a speed boat into a wooden stake but that was more dangerous for my friend. I guess, in an umbrella sense, driving.
4. What is the most stupid thing you have ever done?
Accidentally posted my iPod into a transparent Perspex postbox at heathrow. I was trying to post some CDs and tried to jam them in with the iPod. Posted the lot in the end. I then posted five pounds and a note to the postmen saying please keep the iPod safe till I get back from Sydney. Never saw it again.
5. What has surprised you the most during your career in comedy?
Probably how much hard work it all is. I used to have visions of cocktails, sunbeds and Baftas. That was basically my plan for 2008. More Edinburgh and temping at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
