A clip from Russell Howard's Good News last week has gone viral. In the clip Howard passionately backs junior doctors and the NHS and complains about the demonising of the health service by the media. He also points out that the NHS is great value: "It costs you 20p to have a shit in a train station...the NHS is free." The segment, from the first episode of the current series of the BBC’s hit comedy Russell Howard's Good News, has amassed 6.3 million views on Facebook alone and been shared by over 100,000 users on the social network. A huge presence online, Howard is already the most popular comedian on Facebook with over 3 million fans as well as a Twitter following of over 1 million.
