Vic Reeves has posted a message on Twitter following Bob Mortimer's recent heart surgery.
Reeves wrote: "Thank you for all of your messages about Bob. He is doing well. He will return bigger, faster, stronger, better."
Messages of support have been flooding in since Tuesday's news from fans and the world of comedy and showbiz including Graham Linehan, Adam Buxton, Daniel Simonsen, Count Arthur Strong, Chris Ramsey, Mark Gatiss, Paddy Considine, Jack Dee, Charlie Higson, Emma Kennedy, David Schneider and Richard Osman. Matt Berry tweeted: "I look forward to visiting him on Friday with best wishes & bad language."
Vic and Bob's regular producer Lisa Clark thanked well-wishers on Facebook and posted the following message: "And his last words as I left, in a slow quiet whisper, were 'make sure everyone watches Matt Berry Does ... Ghosts on iPlayer' ... So now you must. For him. X"
