News: Robin Ince Brian Cox Quest For Wonder Trailer Released

The new trailer for The Quest for Wonder web series featuring Brian Cox, Robin Ince and some cuddly, inquisitive puppets received its world premiere at London’s Eventim Apollo as part of Brian and Robin's Christmas Compendium of Reason show.

The Quest for Wonder online mini-series stars Professor Cox and Robin Ince alongside their puppet counterparts (voiced by Brian and Robin themselves, made by Paper Crane Puppet Company). It was filmed at the Science Museum and will consist of 6 x 6 minute episodes which follow the puppets as they attempt to track down Brian’s missing Wonder - because, as puppet Brian explains, without his Wonder “it’s just equations with great hair”.

The series, described as Sesame Street meets Infinite Monkey Cage, was written by Robin Ince, Trent Burton & Brian Cox, directed by Melinda Burton & Trent Burton and produced by Trunkman Productions & The Incomplete Map of the Cosmic Genome in association with the Science Museum.

The series will be launched with a gala screening including cast and crew Q&A at The Science Museum in February 2016. It will then be available to view online free of charge, with some exclusive bonus content for Cosmic Genome subscribers.

The Incomplete Map of the Cosmic Genome is a critically acclaimed and ground breaking online science video magazine hosted by Sony Award and Rose D’Or winner Robin Ince. It is a guide of modern thought, a celebration of how far the human imagination, combined with scientific thinking, can get us.
