Eddie Izzard is reviving the One Word Impro Show that he was a part of twenty years ago for a special gig on February 12.
The show was originally performed at the Albery Theatre. This time the team of Izzard, Neil Mullarkey, Suki Webster and Stephen Frost will be performing in an early evening show at the Palace Theatre at 6pm. It is going to be a busy night for Izzard. Straight after the Impro show he will be performing his solo show at the same venue.
As the title suggests the twist in this improvisation show is that the suggestions to inspire the ensemble are limited to just one word. But as ever with impro, anything could happen. As the press announcement says: "Pure Impro, pure enjoyment, puerile. What more could you want? Old hands, new laughs."
