Sharon Horgan, Car Share and Romesh Ranganathan's Asian Provocateur are among the nominees for Bafta TV Awards announced today.
The star of Catastrophe is nominated for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme alongside Miranda Hart, Sian Gibson and Michaela Coel. Peter Kay is nominated for Male Performance alongside Hugh Bonneville, Javone Prince and Toby Jones.
Romesh Ranganathan's series Asian Provocateur picks up a nomination in the Entertainment Performance category, while Charlie Brooker's Election Wipe is nominated for Comedy and Comedy Entertainment Programme and Richard Ayaode's Travel Man is in the running for Best Feature. The final series of Peep Shpw is among those nominated for Scripted Comedy.
