The Gold Channel has hastily rearranged its TV schedules this weekend to pay tribute to Ronnie Corbett, who died today.
Highlights will include classic episodes of The Two Ronnies (including the Mastermind sketch: Saturday, 6.20pm and the Four Candles/Fork Handles sketch: Saturday 8.10pm). Gold’s own The Two Ronnies Spectacle will get a rerun (Saturday, 7.10pm) and The Interviews featuring classic chats with Corbett will air again (Sunday, 9.10pm).
The Gold After Dark strand is showing the classic episode of Extras from series 2 which features the episode-stealing appearance from Ronnie in which he is caught with cocaine in the toilets alongside characters played by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
