Update: Bill Burr has just added a second night at Eventim Apollo on August 6 and a late show in Edinburgh on August 8. Tickets go on sale on June 3 at 10am.  

American stand-up legend Bill Burr is returning to the UK this summer for a short run of dates. 

He plays Bristol on August 3, Manchester on August 4, London on August 5 & 6 and then does two shows at the Edinburgh Fringe on August 8, a matinee and a late show. 

Burr is one of the hardest working, most successful comedians in America, having started out as a stand-up in 1992. Onstage he is an angry, frustrated everyman, articulating what his audience is thinking. He is also a seasoned master when it comes to dealing with hecklers. At at least one show in America he has continued with his act despite constant audience interruptions, finally grinding the troublemakers into submission. 

He is also an actor, having appeared in Breaking Bad and the movies Date Night and The Heat. He also hosts a regular podcast, Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast and is the star of F Is for Family, the Netflix animated sitcom based around his stand-up act.
