Tributes have been paid to Terry Jones at Bafta Cymru where the Welsh comedian was presented with an award for his outstanding contribution to television and film. It was revealed last month that the Monty Python star is suffering from a form of dementia.
The 74-year-old appeared onstage with his son Bill and asked the crowd who had given him a standing ovation to "quieten down" before his son added: "It's a great honour for dad. We're so proud of him...with the struggles we're having at the moment, it's been hard."
The award was presented by Michael Palin who described Jones as a "most wonderful friend".
