Edinburgh resident & Canadian tour-de-force Tom Stade has announced a run at the Edinburgh Fringe and a major 60-date autumn tour. This will be a new show entitled I Swear. It will premiere at the Gilded Balloon Debating Hall from August 2 - 27 before heading off around the UK.
For those who have experienced one of Tom’s epic narratives, never has a show been more appropriately titled. Stade leaves no taboo untouched as he pledges to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, providing an inspiring and incisive antidote to dark times.
Stade is one of the stand-up scene's most effortless comedians. In recent years he has appeared on television on Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Lee Mack’s All Star Cast, Dave’s One Night Stand and Channel 4’s Boyle Variety Performance. He is a regular guest presenter at Q Magazine’s annual music awards and was co-writer of Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights. He also starred alongside Daniel Sloss in his own online sitcom, M.U.F.F.
