The date has been confirmed for John Cleese's first-ever attempt at trying his hand at being a BBC Radio disc jockey, which, according to the BBC press release, he discovers isn’t as easy as it sounds.
The first episode of John Cleese Presents... goes out on Radio 4 at 9.30am on May 10, so it is quite a short debut. There will be five episodes.
Cleese will be joined by Harriet Carmichael and Peter Dickson. It is written by John Cleese and James Peak. Extracts used in this programme are taken from Cleese’s audiobook of his autobiography, So, Anyway.
Producers: James Peak and Andre Jacquemin for Goldhawk Essential.
