A date has been confirmed for the broadcast of the new series of dating show Your Face Or Mine.
Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan will be hosting the new version of the old show and it will start on Comedy Central on May 17 at 8pm.
Carr presented the original version on E4 and Channel 4 from 2002.
The 22 episodes of the show have been commissioned by Louise Holmes, VP of Programming, Comedy Central UK and will be Executive Produced by Leon Wilson and Ed Sleeman for Talkback. The series will be filmed in front of a live audience in early 2017.
Over a series of revelation-filled rounds, couples are forced to compare their looks with other people’s – and ultimately with each other’s – in this relationship-testing game.
Jimmy Carr said: "I’m delighted to be bringing back Your Face or Mine to Comedy Central. In an age when people are forever judging individuals on how they look, placing attractiveness on a pedestal above intelligence, and forcing others to fit societal norms of beauty, why not make them do all of those things, to their loved ones, on national television and for money?”
