Comedian Micky Flanagan has broken ticket sales records during the opening run of his huge An' Another Fing UK Tour.
Thursday saw the London comic shattering the previous record set for a seated show at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle with 9,822 tickets sold taking him past Peter Kay. Friday saw him beat Lee Evans’ record for a seated comedy event with 12,121 sales on his first night at the Sheffield Arena. And most astonishingly of all, his seated show at the same venue on Saturday saw Micky sell more tickets than any other act.
This tour follows his record breaking “Back In The Game” tour of 2013 which took in an incredible 129 shows - making it the biggest comedy tour in the world that year - having sold an unbelievable 500,000 tickets in the UK and Ireland alone.
