Ricky Gervais has revealed that he has been thinking about make a new sitcom.
In an interview in New York with Tim Goodman at the Kaufmann Concert Hall Gervais said that the story was about a middle-aged man who has split up with his wife and has to rebuild his life after moving in with a "loser relative". It would be called Attached.
“I had five projects which I have narrowed down to one sitcom...It’s about me trying to cope without this life-long partner and how the real world is harsh. It is going to be harsh.”
At the moment, however, he says he wants to concentrate on stand-up. His current world tour, Humanity, is receiving positive reviews and he is considering touring with a new show before filming Attached.
Earlier this week Gervais said he would donate $10,000 each to Chicago cancer charity @GildasClubCHI and animal charity @PAWSChicago following his sold out gigs in the city.
