Comedian Lucy Beaumont is to return to BBC Radio 4 for a new run of To Hull And Back.

Beaumont and Maureen Lipman will star in a third series of the acclaimed sitcom about a mother and daughter desperately trying to make ends meet in the cutthroat world of hairdressing in the North East of England. 

Sophie has qualified as a professional hair stylist so she can finally leave Hull and make her fortune in London. But her mother Sheila can't abide the idea of Sophie being swallowed up in the big city and so will do anything to thwart her ambitions, even when Sophie meets the man of her dreams... 

The show is being recorded in London November. Details below.
